  Lianyungang – Bosch, a leading global supplier of automotive technologies and services, is presenting its full range of innovative and locally tailor-made solutions at the first ever Bosch China Automotive Innovation Day. Under the theme "Shaping mobility, Let's Bosch.", the company showcases solutions for clean powertrain systems, safety technologies, automated and connected driving, and the automotive aftermarket.

  "China is the world's largest automobile market, and at the same time is experiencing an important period of transformation, driven by technological innovation and a gradually maturing market place," said Peter Tyroller, the member of the board of management of Robert Bosch responsible for Asia Pacific at the Bosch China Automotive Innovation Day. "Chinese drivers are increasingly demanding a safer, cleaner, more economical and automated driving experience. Bosch is consistently devoted to supporting this transformation with our comprehensive know-how in automotive technologies and long-term commitment to China," he added.

  The Bosch China Automotive Innovation Day is the largest experiential press event of its kind in the Asia-Pacific region and is held at the company's new automotive test and technology center in Donghai.

Continuous localization efforts of Bosch in China

 The achievements Bosch has made in China are owed to its all-round localization, covering the areas of research and development, engineering, purchasing, production process and product management. By the end of 2013, Bosch established 26 automotive locations and 11 automotive technical centers in China. Two new plants in Shanghai and Qingdao will come into operation until the beginning of 2015.
